Reduce your premiums by changing your basic health insurance model – quickly and easily in the KPTnet customer portal. With most models, you can only change your basic health insurance once a year.
Deadlines in a nutshell
When changing your basic health insurance or deductible, the following deadlines apply:
Basic health insurance
Changing your basic health insurance model as of 1 January: your notification must be received by your health insurer by the end of its published opening hours on the last working day in November.
Exception: you can switch from the standard model free choice of doctor to a different basic health insurance model on the 1st day of the month that follows the month in which you sent us the notification.Deductible
Reducing your deductible as of 1 January: your notification must be received by your health insurer by the end of its published opening hours on the last working day in November.
Increasing your deductible as of 1 January: your notification must be received by your health insurer by the end of its published opening hours on the last working day in December.
