What should you do if you fall ill?
If you have the Medi model and are ill, always proceed as follows:
1. Check your symptoms:

2. Select treatment steps:

- You need a referral from to visit a general practitioner or specialist
- If necessary, you can visit a hospital emergency department. You don’t need a referral for this.
3. Order medication:
As a rule, you will order your medication from the online pharmacy. Where medically appropriate, you will be prescribed a rather than the more expensive original medication. If this is the first time your medication has been prescribed and you require it urgently, you may obtain it immediately from your doctor or, as an exception, from a different pharmacy. Zur Rose delivers medication directly to your chosen address with no postage costs.
4. Check your treatment plan:
Your treatment pathway is determined in consultation with Medi24 healthcare professionals. They also agree on any referral, for example from general practitioner to specialist, and any follow-up consultations with Medi24.

What basic health insurance covers
