International health insurance

• You must be moving from Switzerland to another country and no longer be subject to compulsory insurance in Switzerland.
• You must be no older than 70 years of age. 
• You must arrange international insurance before leaving Switzerland.

Are you moving to an EU or EFTA country and receiving a salary or pension from Switzerland? If so, you need EU/EFTA health insurance.

Are you moving to another country for a temporary period only and still have compulsory insurance in Switzerland? In this case, our travel and holiday insurance is what you need.

As with basic health insurance, you choose the you would like: 

• Children up to 18 years: CHF 0, CHF 300 or CHF 600
• Adults: CHF 300, CHF 1,000 or CHF 2,000
