Guest insurance protects your guests from high costs in Switzerland. The insurance sum can be freely selected.

Medical expenses associated with accident or illness
Swiss guest insurance covers costs associated with illness or accident over the insured period. The amount of cover depends on the insurance sum selected: you can choose between 30,000, 50,000 and 100,000 francs.
Assistance with transport home or repatriation
Health insurance for foreign guests organises and pays for return transport to the home country or repatriation in the event of death.
Search and rescue costs
Guest insurance covers the insured person for search and rescue costs of up to 10,000 francs.

Is the insurance also worthwhile for guests who do not require a visa?

Yes. Especially if your guests do not have sufficient health insurance as tourists in Switzerland. They will then avoid high medical or accident costs.

Where should I send my guests’ medical bills?

Bills should be sent to our partner Allianz Travel Switzerland. You will find the address in your Swiss guest insurance confirmation of cover.

Is there a hotline to call if my guests have any health problems?

Yes. The 24-hour hotline is available at +41 (0)44 283 32 22.

Are foreign guests required to complete a health declaration?

No. A health declaration is not required for Swiss guest insurance. Important: pre-existing conditions are not covered.
