You can visit a doctor straight away in the following cases:

What happens if I go straight to a medical practice without using the Well app?

If you go to the doctor without using the , we will remind you of the rules of your basic health insurance model. If you repeatedly fail to comply with the KPTwin.smart conditions, we will switch you to the standard model. This costs you more each month as you lose the premium discount received with digital basic health insurance.

Do I lose my GP if I choose the digital model?

No, you can save your GP in the Well app and visit them immediately after using the symptom checker. However, the first step must always be to use the Well app.

Telemedical consultation with Medi24The doctors discuss the next treatment steps with you. They also issue medical certificates. If necessary, they will refer you to specialists.

Doctor’s visitThe symptom checker can advise you to visit a doctor. In this case, you should book an appointment with your general practitioner or choose a specialist practice recommended by . Always report your visit to the specialist practice in the in advance (appointment releases).
